Product Description

BT009 is a portable data collector, you can use it anytime or without computer. The reader can collect 3 tracks data, and the data will be stored in it. The date and time will be displayed in every datum, and you can use USB mode, Bluetooth HID mode and Bluetooth SPP mode to transfer the data. You can use it in Windows 7 and Windows 8 (32 and 64bit) device.

 

• Offline and USB mode

Product and software installation：

1. Connect the battery with BT009, the blue LED will flash, shown in “The 1st” picture.

2. Please swipe the magnetic card, the yellow LED light will flash once, note: the magnetic stripe should be closed to the magnetic head of BT009, and the speed of swipe not too fast or too slow. Then connect the USB interface to USB data cable, shown in “The 2nd” picture. Then connect the USB cable with computer, shown in “The 3rd” picture.

4. Please open the “Device manager” in the computer, if you see a yellow sign, shown in “The 4th” picture, you need a driver and install it to your computer.

5. Please download the driver from our website to your computer, and double click the icon to open and install it. Firstly, click next, and then click finish, shown in “The 5th” and “The 6th” picture.

6. After the installation is finished, you can check it in “Device manager” of computer, shown in “The 7th” picture.

7. Please download software from our website, and select the corresponding folder to open, find out “Run This File as Administrator.bat”, right-click the mouse and click “run as Administrator”, shown in “The 8th” picture.

Note: Check the COM in “Device manager”, COM number must be less than 16, double click the COM name to

change number, choose COM setting → Senior, shown in “The 9th” picture.

8. Please download from our website and open it, shown in “The 10th” picture, choose corresponding COM and click “Open COM”.

9. Please refer to “Commands” to check and download data, shown in “The 11th” picture.

Commands：

Record number: Counted the number of data in BT009’s memory.

Read Record: Check all the stored data in BT009, and displayed in the dialog-box (display about 120 pcs

data).

Download: The data will be stored in computer as a notepad (.txt), and name after date and time.

Read Time: Get the time from BT009.

Set Time: Synchronize the date and time with computer.

Erase: Delete all the data in BT009.

Reset: Restart the reader.

Clear: Clear the data of dialog-box.

Show Current Record: Select the option, when you swiping card, at the same time, the data will be displayed

in the dialog-box.

Show Real Time: Select the option, add the date and time to the data.

 

 

• Bluetooth SPP mode to connect computer:

1. Please connect the battery with BT009.
2. Connect the bluetooth adapter with computer, the bottom right corner of computer will show that a program is being installed, when the installation is finished, you will be saw a bluetooth icon displayed, shown in “The 12th” picture.

3. Click the bluetooth icon, and choose adding equipment, it will find “BT009” ,shown in “The 13th” picture.

4. Choose the reader, and click next, shown as “The 14th” picture, select input the device’s PIN(E), the PIN is 0000, and click next. Shown in “The 15th” and “The 16th” picture.

5. Check the COM in “Device manager”, COM number must be less than 16, double click the COM name to change number, choose COM setting → Senior, shown in “The 17th” picture.

6. Please double click to open it, shown in “The 18th” picture, choose corresponding COM and click “Open COM”.

7. When the connection is finished, shown in “The 19th”, the blue LED on reader will be bright always. Please refer to “Commands” to check and download data.

• Bluetooth HID mode to connect smartphone:

If you want to check data by smartphone, you need change the reader to bluetooth HID mode via USB cable.

The steps:

1. Please delete the bluetooth device of BT009 on the computer or other mobile phone if you used it before, if not, you will be not to connect it to the smartphone. Click the bluetooth icon of computer, and choose display bluetooth device (D), delete the device, shown in “The 20th” picture.

2. Connect the reader with computer by USB cable, and open , choose corresponding COM and click “Open COM”, then check “Bluetooth HID Mode”, after the setting is finished, below will show that “Set HID mode command, well!” , if the setting is failed, try again. Shown in “The 21th” picture.

Note: Also, you can change bluetooth HID mode to Bluetooth SPP mode by the same way.

3. Enable bluetooth of the smartphone, and click “scan”, choose the reader’s name to connect, after the connection is finished, shown in “The 22th” picture, the blue LED will bright always.

4. Now you can use it in Notes/office files or other cursor blinking position, shown in “The 23th” picture.

 

 

Note:

1. If you want change bluetooth HID mode to bluetooth SPP mode, in USB mode, remove the “√” in front of “Bluetooth HID Mode”，and then reset the reader.
2. Also, change HID mode to SPP mode, and change the name of bluetooth should set in USB mode.
